RESOLUTION / AGREEMENT

              On this day, 16th February 2026 (Monday), a meeting was held between the Joint Action Committee (JAC) on National Highway, Kolasib and the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL), PMU Kolasib, and their respective Contractors regarding the execution of works under the Short Term Maintenance Contract (STMC) within Kolasib District. The following agreement has been mutually arrived.

In the event of any violation of this Resolution / Agreement, appropriate legal action may be initiated in any competent Court of law as per the provisions of the law.

1.           The works under the following chainages / locations within Kolasib District are agreed to be executed as follows:

Chainage 42 to 70 (Vairengte – Bilkhawthlir) – M/s Balaji Construction

Chainage 70 to 95 (Bilkhawthlir – Kolasib) – M/s J Infratech

Chainage 95 to 118 (Kolasib – Kawnpui) – M/s Balaji Construction

Chainage 118 to 133 (Kawnpui – Khamrang) – M/s J Infratech

Chainage 133 to 147 (Khamrang – Buichalli) – M/s BR Goyal

It is agreed that 75% of the DBM (Dense Bituminous Macadam / Black Topping) work shall be completed on or before 15th March 2026.

Further, in compliance with the promises made by the Contractor M/s J Infratech, to the Gauhati High Court, the entire BC (Bituminous Concrete / Final Coating) work shall be completed on or before 30th April 2026.

2.During the execution of works within Kolasib District, NHIDCL and its Contractors shall ensure that maximum possible engagement of local vehicles (i.e., LMV & HMV) is facilitated.

3.NHIDCL and the Authority Engineer shall ensure that Contractors’ Bills and Work Plan drafts / submissions are processed and approved expeditiously, without unnecessary delay or obstruction.

This Resolution / Agreement has been voluntarily and mutually signed today, 16th February 2026, in the presence of witnesses, with full consent and understanding of all parties concerned.
